WuT
WuT has traveled many miles in various genres. Spanning the musical globe from rock, reggae, funk to hip hop gelled together by skill and playing from the heart. But after all of his travels, both lost and found, he has found himself and his sound. Simply put, WuT is a classic folk/Blues singer with some bite, who just happens to be a well traveled man.
He was born at a military base in California, and raised all over the world in places like Amsterdam, Greece, New Mexico, Sacramento due to his Dad’s job in the military. He moved to Hawaii on his own for the adventure. From a young age, music and harmonies were in his blood. Although a classically trained in multiple instruments WuT’s rogue nature lead him to a variety of muses on his journey to finding his own sound. “The only musicians I looked up to were Prince, Sade, Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Marley, real HIP-HOP and a stand out friend, Guy Cruz, a singer and musician well known on the islands,” he says.
While discovering himself on his musical journey WuT hit the musical circuit in L.A. playing everywhere from the famed Viper Room, The Key Club, The LightHouse Cafe, and even traveled up the coast to play all over the Bay Area at places like The Capital Garage.
All of the miles he has logged has stripped his music of any frivolous additives and confetti. WuT settled on Folk, blues and Flow all gelled together to be named lowflow music, due to its mellow vibe but old school flavor . WuT delivers honest, heart-felt words, with a beautiful voice, and a smile and vibe that penetrates the heart and mind of everyone who sees him.
